So Tell Me...

One Hanukkah, my parents got me a board game called "Therapy." It's quite an interesting game. One of the aspects of the game is therapy, where you ask personal questions (like "So tell me, ______, what is your biggest secret about?) and try to guess the answer the other person gave ( Read more... )

No, I don't mind at all. Especially since you enjoy Dostoyevsky, and I can't get most of my friends to remember his name, much less read his work.

2. In jail--I actively tax resist

That sounds like Thoreau. Or anarchists.

Yes. Dostoevsky is a god. I'm reading Notes from Underground for about the 10th time.

I am an anarchist. No, I haven't had the pleasure of Thoreau.

I feel it is funny sad that I haven't had the pleasure. I like to think that I am well-read and competent, but I do like to revolt against the school system when it says that: these are the guys to read, ignore the rest. Dostoevsky isn't exactly on the lists they carry. Damn well should be, then maybe people would beable to really feel their depressed emotions.

I don't know. I am a hypocrite.

You should know- I can't resist surveys, or quizzes:
1. a. sitting down- explanation's not necessary.
2. e. I wouldn't. Or if I was forced to, C- totally confused, and then D- in jail.
3. Jane. It reminds me of Jane Gallagher. I'd like to be like her.
4. c. Ah! I've been waiting all my life. Then my X-Files obsession would be justified.
5. How about myself? There aren't too many other players.
6. Either Cleopatra or the Hun. They'd both be interesting to talk to, and I'd want to see what Cleopatra looks like. If she was really 300lbs., it'd make me feel better.
7. A navy cook- stuck with hundreds of sailors in sailor outfits!
8. Sara? She could walk to a corner and read a book. And socialize for a minute or two if so desired.
9. I think I'll be traditional here and say 1.
10. Hmm... Considering I'm short and small and have long hair, I'd say 4.

I'm bored, so here goes...

So tell me, _____, what position are you usually in when you're having the most enjoyable moments in your life?

b. sitting

I spend most of my life sitting these days. (And are they trying to get someone to make a sex joke with this? I mean, really...)

So tell me, ____, if you were doing your own income tax, would you end up

b. paying the right amount

...I hope.

So tell me, ____, other than your own name, which of the following names suits you best?

FEMALE--Anastasia

But I dunno, maybe I'd be, like, Bubbles, cause I'm like so bubbly!!!! LOLZ :)

So tell me, ____, if a space-craft landed on your front lawn tonight, would you

b. wake up someone else to protect you.

Though I might hope it's just a dream and go back to sleep.

So tell me, ____, in which player's dream would you most likely appear as a character?

Yours, because I don't know any of the other people who posted here.

So tell me, ____, who would you most like to meet in the afterlife?

Since I never gave my answers, here they are now:

1. C (on my feet)
I do tend to be standing up and moving around when (because) I'm happy.

2. A (overpaying) or B (paying the right amount)

3. Gertie
Not like in Anne of Green Gables, mind you, but in that other family series whose name I don't remember.

4. B (wake someone up to protect me)

5. Nina's dream?

6. A (Moses). Well, okay, maybe Cleopatra.

7. A (five star restaurant)
That way my perfectionism would be more of an asset than anything else.

8. No idea, but not me.

9. A (1)
Because I've read The Red Tent.

10. 3
I actually had to do this for a play. I didn't turn out quite...right.
