Most of the stereotypical pirates that were from my "world" were dated to last from the 15th century to the early 19th ( ... )

I apologize, I'm told it's something I need to work on.

I was simply running with the theory of "I'm rubber, you're glue," despite it being highly illogical, not all rubber bounces and reflects.

I didn't say it was bad. I find it impressive. Not many people can do that. Besides, at least you can say you do it on purpose.

I'm not familiar with that one. Since my enemy is made of rubber, I'm not sure I want to be either.

... I wasn't doing it on purpose?

Oh, hm. It's usually a childhood rhyme, but. Perhaps you would be more accustomed to; "I know you are, but what am I?"

Oh, that is impressive then. I feel I should congratulate you or something.

I've heard that one, but I would think someone more literate could hold her own better than that.

A congratulatory medal would be needed, I would think.

Ah, but au contraire, mon ami; I am merely teasing you, thus my wit shall not be completely shown to such a ... comely wench.

Woman, I suggest you stop thinking I can be so easily maneuvered before you get in over your head.

I don't lie. I see no point in it.

I simply do not know you well enough to maneuver you easily.

I didn't say you could maneuver me, no one can. I said you thought you could.

I see.

I don't think I could, even if I could, I wouldn't. There is no point in it.

You're the one insisting you're trying to tease me, I merely gave a friendly warning to stop when you're already in over your head.

How would I get in over my head? I'm curious.

Because little lady, you still think you're winning.

Please refrain from calling me 'little lady', I have a name. Unless you would prefer to be referred to as "Comely wench" as much as possible.

On the note of winning, I didn't realize we were playing a game.
