Hunter looks around as he gently escorts his wife into the room with a hand hovering protectively behind her back, his mouth quirking slightly in a smile as he sees and senses how nothing has changed. -It's like I thought, only a few weeks has passed for them

"Anywhere you like," Chiyoko sighed, smiling slightly. Then she looked over at the booth they used before, surprised to see that RJ hadn't taken down the decorations. "Amazing," she said softly.

-It's only been a few weeks for them.- He guides her toward it, his protective hovering gentle and unintrusive.

She smiled at him, then went and sat, folding her wings carefully. "Yes. But I'd forgotten," he said softly.

-So strange,- he muses as he takes the seat across from her.

He remembers some of the adventures that they've been through, the images coming faintly to her own mind. -Yeah. You're right.-

"So?" RJ looked hopeful.

"Thank you," Chiyoko nodded, checking once more.

"Great," RJ beamed. "How many bedrooms? We got one, two, n' three room suites."

-I think one would be big enough,- says Hunter, once more checking with his wife.

"Alright," RJ said, then grinned at Chiyoko. "So no liddle ones yet, huh?"

Chiyoko shook her head, arching an eyebrow at the mutant. "No." Picking up the soup she took a sip, then offered it to her husband.

He nods, then cocks his head and contemplates the scents that the breeze is bringing in. -The Andalites are still here... and I smell gargoyle.-

She smiled demurely.

"Are you?" she said humorously.

[random_xtras]

-...?- He gives her the confused look that always makes him look comical. She's never lost the ability to confuse him. He kind of likes that.

She only laughed and shook her head, taking another sip of soup and then tilting her head. "The patrons seem to be the same as well."

[random_xtras]

-Like you need to be invited.- He eyerolls slightly, then sends pointed thoughts of the goodness of Cajun hotsauce on raw meat toward RJ.

"Mhm," RJ said, coming over. "You lucky we have some left, de lunch hour jus' end."

Hunter only grins slightly, then looks to Chiyoko to see if she wants some too.

She nodded and smiled as RJ also set down a pitcher of cool water and some glasses, then turned and walked away to greet a new pair of customers who'd entered.
