Where are my glimpses of India?

I love to travel.  But the non-availability of time has killed me.  How I wish I can recklessly walk about looking at people and taking pictures!

The book's in English. I can read Bengali, and six other Indian languages :-). I am not Bengali, I am hardcore Assamese :-).

You're so right - I sometimes envy Tagore too - its not fair that life was so much more idyllic then( of course for the privileged) and he could just take holidays on the river and absorb all that beauty and serenity and write about it!
Damn, I'm all nostalgic for rural Bengal again...
PS: Hope you get some time off too.

I have extensively travelled through the rural villages in Malda and Farakka in 1999. I simply loved it.

I am going home after a year and a half. So maybe then I can fit some schedules for eastern Arunachal as well; but that's just a plan.
