The Kalbeliya dance in most cultural gatherings around Delhi is a common performance these days. The Kalbeliyas, a snake-charmer community from Rajasthan, rely heavily on dance performances for a living.

When i was lil grl i used to wear long skirts like the lady in the pic and go round in circles.. what a head rush!!

Yes I definitely agree on the head rush, but these dancers execute it so remarkably perfect that one would love seeing them.

What film? What settings? Tripod? What time of day?

Supernova / Low aperture (I don't remember but it was >8, the speed was low about 1/30 due to deliberate underexposure) / Hand-held / Late afternoon around 4:30 PM (Delhi sun)
