Except it's not really an FAQ... in fact, the reason I'm making this post is that I don't know what you all want to know about me, but I'm really keen for you to find those answers

Ah, unfortunately, my job is one of the few things I'm not so comfortable with talking about - at least not in an unlocked post!
That probably makes it sound much more interesting than it is; I'm just paranoid. You can pretend I work as a secret agent or a superhero or something if you like; that's probably much more interesting.
I'm a lawyer, and though I'm not comfortable with talking about my current work, I can tell you that before I got kind of burned out on it (which happened surprisingly quickly, I'm sorry to say), I used to work with disadvantaged families/individuals. I moved on to something much less personal (corporate sector) because I just couldn't deal with it anymore. Maybe someday I'll go back. I don't particularly like working in corporate.
For the FAQ, I've been wanting to ask you how your family deals with you and your spouse. We see how your inlaws deal with you, but not the other way around.
Also, I love reading about how people became parents. How choices were made, what lengths people went to. Your story sounds different than any other I've read. I'd love to read about why you and your spouse decided to have Holly, how you went about approaching your SIL, some idea of costs, processes, and the like. And, (I apologize, because I know on some level this could be considered rude, but I've been curious) How was Holly conceived and why that method was chosen over other methods. Its totally cool if you don't want to talk about this stuff though, but you did ask! :)

Also: you're added to both.
