The whole idea of a War to End War is pretty naive, really; you've pointed it out yourself. And yeah, people really do go overboard on oversimplified criticisms of the internet, I think -- but if they're just hopping on the bandwagon and not interested in debate, I dun think there's anything useful that could be said to 'em.

To be entirely honest, the idea is both ridiculous and sort of cruel. No offense to your friend meant - I should hope that she was just frustrated and rambling too, as war and mass-genocide are things that I would hope no one would wish upon another.

Like economic downturn never turned people outside? Even with this recession we're in right now, people are pulling themselves away from their computers and running outside with their dogs..
