I don't even have words for this fic. I admit, before Kurt really got developed, I was, hmmm, not upset per se, but I didn't really enjoy how viewers were supposed to understand Kurt's gay because he wears form-fitting sweaters that stop at the knee, likes Liza Minnelli, etc etc. So I find this fic strangely fascinating, although I can't lie, it's giving me perception whiplash.

The "Would I like a what now?" line has been quoted, so my second favorite is: She kissed his cheek as Kurt dragged his hand away from its new best friend. Smirking so hard.

I really like the whole vibe of the fic where Kurt is kind of a loser, both in reputation and experiences, and in the way he takes in his new ~cool kid~ surroundings, who has a very popular sort of girlfriend/girl he makes out with. Eagerly awaiting the other parts!

I remember people being in a RAEG about all the blatant stereotyping, and I do love Kurt to bits, but this idea intrigued me. I ship Kurt/Girls anyway, but mostly in a 'well I need to experiment too' kind of way. It's weird making him out-and-out straight. And he does like the boobies. That's our boy.

I kind of imagine that Kurt couldn't not be a loser if he tried. I picture him trying to butch it up a bit and then seeing himself in the mirror and having a panic attack. XD

I'm glad you liked it. I'm thinking of a week between postings, just to give Becky some time, Y/N?

Yeah, I've caught articles from around that time, and they were indeed ragey. Not that I can blame them, but at this point, I'm amazed at the way they're dealing with his gender identity. But yes! On the other hand, I love the idea of straight Kurt, and I think it can be done and that you're pulling it off with flying colors.

Loser Kurt is another thing where I have to give you points. Before BR, I'd have said Kurt is infinitely more cool and sophisticated than his peers, but-haha. U Can't Touch This. Yeah. I can't wait for next episode and how he'll go around butching it up.

I was worried that that section would be seen as too hand-wavy, so I'm glad it works.

I've always thought that Brittany wasn't dumb, per-se, just a little spacey but sweet. I think with each new episode that's not the case, but I really like her here, so we'll run with it. XD

This is not only what I hoped to get - this is actually much, much better. Your characterization of Kurt is just brilliant, it's exactly what I was hoping to get; he likes doing things that make him look like he's gay but in reality, he just enjoys them, so why should he stop?

Your Brit just slays me. I love how you made her so intelligent and quite devious. I love how she played Kurt. Her entire speech about assumptions was brilliant and fitted the character perfectly.

I can't wait to read the rest.

PS. I got your PMs. Don't sweat it! If the rest of the fic is this quality, then I honestly don't care who does what with whom. If I were you I'd start posting it everywhere, people need to know! :)

I'm so relived that you liked it. SO RELIEVED. It changed into a different beast when I started writing and I was worried you'd be disappointed. Yay!

I think the B9 is proving Britt to be more of an airhead than I saw her before, but I still like her here, so she stays. And it's totally my headcanon that she's friends with Becky because they took SE classes together at some point. She's just a sweet heart and an airhead and... ♥

The next part should be up next Monday. And sorry for not responding right away, I was in the middle of moving and took the time to cross-post but not respond, I'm a terrible host. :D
