The mother of all Svetlana headcanon posts. You've probably seen a lot of the later stuff on Tumblr, but all the bits about the IRL links are new. Bolded names refer to IRL people.

this is an attempt to set up my headcanon for the character of Svetlana, the wife Anatoly abandons.

i don't even know anything about the fandom, but this post is amazing :)))

i looked in russian wiki, and it says that svetlana serova was a third wife of eduard khrutsky, the detective stories writer
unfortunately, i can't find anything else about her or that marriage

Oh, right, I should probably have explained what fandom this is from, shouldn't I? To be honest, I wasn't really expecting that anyone on my flist would actually see this and read through it, so I didn’t think to add that information. I'll go do that now
