Spring life hasn't sprung so much as been roused half-awake from a deep torpor.  Around here, it takes weeks before scenes like the one below will fade into the darkest of cold memories.  Seeds and roots and buds shake off the dust and stumble around, reaching for the warm, resurrected sun.  But once they are fully awake, watch out!  Waters will ( Read more... )

It might just be my browser, but your post on Floodblog from today seems to be cut off in the first line. It's probably me, though. :)

That house looks well protected from the elements...by the elements.

In google reader, it just scrolls to the right for the entire line. Methinks line breaks might need to be manually inserted.

That looks like a lot of snow. It'll be a big problem if it all melts at once. - Mr. Obvious
