I discovered FetLife two weeks ago and since then have spent way too much time on it, developing my page for *tiger* (an new striped animal). It's possible to search people by city, state, or country, or to search for them by specific kink. As the site grows, cross-searching would make it better. I really like it now: it's straightforward;

It's worth a look, far better on the surface than bondage.com, alt.com, collarme, etc. Somehow, it's quiet and seems navigable. A friend created a fake page so she could look around, then decided to proceed. Hope you like it.
