Car-induced laughter and Boston Legal

Dec 10, 2008 21:03

Something went increasingly wrong with my car during my hour and a half drive to work yesterday morning, so I made for the car dealership instead and did my best to time the lights so I didn't have to stop for long (not really possible in morning traffic), since when I did the car would vibrate dramatically and be reluctant to go again. No warning ( Read more... )

That would be awful, and I knew I was risking it! I could just imagine the traffic backing up for miles behind me, and hearing them announce my breakdown on the morning traffic report on the radio.

I normally love to drive, but that assumes the car is doing what it's supposed to.

Very scary!

The "coil pack" was causing the problem, but there was also a shopping list of other things wrong, or at least they said there was! I never know whether to believe them.

To the love that is Boston Legal and sometimes it's good to get into a closed-canon show. Hey, like Alan, Denny and Jerry have been saying all year, there are always spin-offs, other time slots, other networks (ones that care)... :o)

I'm all in favour of dead shows where you know what you're getting into!

I did some Christmas shopping today and looked at the DVD sets, but they weren't on sale and I restrained myself. Really looking forward to seeing more!

Boston Legal had a slash trailer on one of our digital channels.

I never managed to record it, but saw it twice. It consisted mostly of Denny and Alan saying "I love you" to each other.

I am beaming while reading your lovely words about feeling so happily fannish.

And laughing...I am a laughter addict. I think this is why so many of the things I get head over heels fannish about, involve comedy.

I saw the whole finale of Boston Legal last night at sarren's and it's filled my happy fannish place so full it's overflowing and leaving little puddles all over the floor!

I like that feeling of laughter being cathartic at the very moment you're laughing. Usually when I find something particularly funny, I'm a bit stressed or worked up, and the laughter seems to be a reaction and an antidote.
