It's raining now, hooray hooray. Grow, little plants.

Wheee! It's raining up there? BoM's readings won't come in until 3pm, and I'm itching to see how much of the rain we're getting in Perth is getting past the hills. *glued to computer*

...it's great for the plants as well, of course, it's just that my interest in rain is biased towards one thing at the moment. Great photos, and that WAS a rather nice fire. :)

Not enough to put out last night's fire so far, but we've had about 3 hours of light rain and maybe 15 minutes of heavier rain. My creek's up a little on yesterday, but still not really flowing yet. Will keep you posted!

Swoit. :) Bickley copped 39mm today, and the rest of the catchment seemed to get between 5 and 10. A good start...

Could you email me a big version of the "P" and "K & P" pics please? Thanks! (jf@iinet.net.au)

Mmm, fires. There's still one big bonfire waiting to light on the other side of winter.

I can't claim to be blonde unless I'm chemically enhanced, but I'm the one in the purple shirt!

Hm, I'd call that ash blonde... appropriately enough...

We all did so well! And I'm scarcely tired today (perhaps because I cunningly chose a work partner who was five and had to move at her pace).

Actually, I thought her pace (and yours!) was extremely good. Thanks a lot for coming.

::admires:: Maybe after I've done a few Arts subjects at Murdoch, I too will be able to write sentences like that! *g*

But seriously, thanks very much for your help. Especially with the rushes - they just don't quite do it for me the way the trees and shrubs do, and I was glad somebody else put most of them in the ground!
