See, I never thought the show was crap either, but everyone kept telling me it was, so I thought I must have just been less choosy or blinded by the slash or something. Blair rocks! One of my favourite Blairs is the one from Flight - seeing as you've watched Smart Alec, I'll assume you've seen Flight? Sooooo cute and brave! And one of my favourite Jims is the one in the Debt where he's sitting on the couch with Blair and Larry eating popcorn, so cute! *squee!*
Yes, I like Flight and was thinking of taking it to silver_b_a's birthday video screening. I love the scenes where Blair is quite forceful with Jim: (checking transcript site)
You want to find them or not? You got to work with me.
Well, damn it, Jim, tell me what's going on. I'm your partner.
I read "Cloud Mountain" the other day. I liked the glimpses of the future, but wasn't sure why Blair would find it hard to say "I love you" after Jim said it early on as they were driving. That kind of threw me - does it ring true to you? I'm withholding judgement on "out of characterness" until I've seen the rest of the eps.
Good luck with your exams. Would love to watch some Sentinel with you sometime soon!
Did you really say 'quite militant about it'? You're my hero. Though the gay porn line rocks! Will definitely use it if the opportunity arises. The only bible bashers I've met have been the front door type. Last time I opened the front door to them late morning still in my pjs, hair in my face, possibly growling because they timidly asked if they'd woken me and when I snarled at them they ran away.
TS definitely NOT a light fandom, as you've discovered. Mega h/c, probably why there's so much in the fanfic.
Personally I mock the two dimensional baddies and the crap plots. NEVER the angst, the danger or the characterisation and scenes involving the yummy people.
eg Have you got to Peter Wingfield's (aka Methos) laughable attempt at an Aussie accent yet?
Next time someone asks me that question, I hope I have the nerve to say "No, but I'm really interested in gay porn. Maybe we could talk about that?"
If so, I most certainly hope I am there to hear it! :D
I adore trees!!! I am the Tree Goddess, self appointed. The only kind you planted that I've ever seen is the frangipani, but I planted nine trees in my own yard and love them dearly. Go Trees!! I, too, love to think of them growing on after I'm gone from this world.

Anyway, I don't know if you've seen this site yet, but it's *the* site for transcripts:

Your trees sound great, I'd love to see them when I come over!

Yes, the conversation went word for word as above. I managed to put the brakes on before going any further!
Have you got to Peter Wingfield
Not that I've noticed. I'm going to be really embarrassed if I've missed it.

The trees are mostly native Australian varieties, so it's not surprising you wouldn't know them!
