It's accounting work busy season for me, so I've mostly been doing that. The jobs I've had before are going smoothly, but the new ones take much more effort as I work through my predecessors' files and negotiate with the auditors about doing things my way instead of their way ( Read more... )

The England trip is sounding awesome. I actually started missing the place after seeing so much of it during the Olympics.

I was going to ask if you were going tomorrow but the City to Surf answers that one. :). All the best with it. I keep telling myself I will participate one day. I figure that might be a good fitness motivator.

(have you watched Teen Wolf? Just curious what you think of it).

I've often thought it would be nice to spend a few weeks in London with no particular plans and no particular hurry, but it was the Olympics that made me decide to do it right away! I've spent a few days there before on two or three occasions and never got through all the things I wanted to do.

I'll be at the gathering tomorrow - the City to Surf is in the morning. Won't be driving from home, though. I will be driving back home afterwards if that's any help to you.

It's an excellent fitness motivator! Now I need to pick something else to aim for to avoid slipping back again. Every year I go through the cycle of building up to a reasonable distance and then letting that fitness fall away.

Haven't seen Teen Wolf.

I'm ok to drive I just wondered if you would be there. :) I'm still not sure if I can get away yet - I hope so (though I'd be late if I could...).

The October trip sounds awesome. Pictures, pictures...holds out grabby hands. Good on you for the running and longer distances too. Have fun.

INFP, always and forever. I swear it gets more entrenched every year. I always blame that for the condition of my desk and calendar, or lack thereof. List, what list, I was supposed to have it done by when? Oh, is it Saturday already....

I always think of myself as an ISTJ, but on shorter tests I often score E instead (though I'm 100% a solitary recharger, which I think of as the key distinction there) and now it looks like J and P are going to be variable as well. In my personal life I prefer to leave things mostly unplanned, or at least I don't want to be the one who has to do the planning!
