I didn't realise I was such a fan of the genre until recently. I remember one book in my primary school library in which all the adults vanished and a small group of teenagers was left to try to build a society, which I read over and over, but I've hardly touched it since.

Supernatural is a treasure trove of riches. The variety of themes that can still be considered pretty much canonical beats any other fandom I've ever read in.
