teehee :)

I don't tend to eat hotel brekkies anyway, I just take my Orikaso bowl & get some cereal from the local supermarket.

I debated for a few minutes, since the pictures of the B&B looked really nice, but the internet is more essential for life than pleasant surroundings!

Hadn't seen those bowls before. Very clever.

I normally just have cereal too - in fact one of the pleasures of travelling is getting to try different breakfast cereals!

See you at Swancon?

The Sam-Dean scene was definitely the best part of the ep for me! I was mad/glad at Tumblr for spoiling me with gifs, although the scene still retained its power in the video form...

I came across spoilers everywhere, which contributed to my decision to cave and watch the preview! The normal rules for spoilers didn't seem to apply. It is a terrific scene no matter how many times you've seen it before, though!

I loved that flashback musical montage too. The music was perfect.

I like your icon. I have a strong preference for Castiel as a powerful angel rather than a somewhat inept human!

I listened to that song about 15 times yesterday.

"burned through that last beer hours ago. Right about the time Dean passed out.I wondered about this too. My first thought was that Dean got drunk and passed out - which upset me because I would hope that he was alert enough to be watching out for Sam. My thoughts now are that the boys spent the evening drinking (not necessarily to excess) to help Sam forget about the hallucinations. Dean tried to stay awake but passed out. Maybe Sam was telling Dean he was ok.... something like that. (this is where fic is needed ( ... )

Thanks for the detailed thoughts. I also think it was probably a case of drinking together in the evening, but the drinking not necessarily being the only or even primary cause of Dean falling asleep.

I don't think it makes much sense that Dean could stop drinking cold turkey and found it a bit curious that they showed him consuming only coffee after The Slice Girls. Having a few beers seems much more realistic. I hope they're thinking about continuity and it all means something! Though perhaps I should take my lead from you and not expect too much!

I'm sure we'll get more on how Dean feels about Cas in the remaining Cas episodes. I think it would probably be scarier to be a Dean/Cas fan than a Sam/Dean fan at the moment.

I'm at Swancon over Easter and leave for Melbourne and New Zealand on the 12th, so am away for most of this hiatus. I'm back on the 24th.

I think the need to sleep just got the better of Dean so Lucifer's comment was an extra dig at Dean being able to sleep and Sam not.

I think it would probably be scarier to be a Dean/Cas fan than a Sam/Dean fan at the moment.

Good point. They have much less to count on and work with. Maybe that's why there is SO MUCH Dean/Cas fic.

Something I haven't figured...why did Lucifer want Sam dead? If it was only an hallucination then Sam (somehow) wanted to kill himself. If it was actually a part of lucifer then maybe he had another motive for wanting Sam to die. (I'm pondering if Sam's soul is released then Lucifer would also be release back into the world...?)

Aaannnway... over thinking as per usual.

and.../o\ I forgot you were away then. Might try and wrangle Saturday somehow..

I'd been assuming that Lucifer was entirely a product of Sam's Hell-damaged mind and Sam was just too tired of trying to manage them to keep going any more. The Cas transfer and some other things people have pointed out (like Lucifer scenes when Sam isn't there) might be solid evidence for "real" Lucifer being involved - I'll just wait and see how that pans out. If it is really Lucifer, they've got a lot to fit in to the next 6 episodes, with Cas, Meg, Lucifer AND leviathans!

You do a good job at balancing over-thinking with having realistic expectations for what we'll actually get on-screen!

You're definitely welcome on Saturday if it works out! I'm hoping to be able to watch from 11 or 12 again. Otherwise, maybe we can line up some shared watchings once I get back.
