Prowl x Jazz Anniversary Challenge - week 4

Sep 30, 2011 22:20

Not for the first time, the challenge prompts this week refused to stay separate in my head, and yet again a busy work week and the short deadline has left these short of what I'd hoped for. The best I can share is this pair of related ficlets for week four of the prowlxjazz Anniversary challenge. Here's number one:

Killing Me Softly )

kms, challenge response, transformers, angst, prowl/jazz, g1, fan fiction

Indeed. I'm afraid the prompt wouldn't let me go. Poor Prowl.

Such a heartbreaking story. I love how well you pulled off the emotions here. I could really feel it, Prowl lost in the memories, leaving him unguarded. And it's a good thing, too, because now the mech's realise they had been wrong about him. It certainly helps when one has support in their sad moments.
Well written story and prompt entry.

Oh.......oh. This is incredibly sad and emotionally deep. The ending was brilliant, actually the WHOLE plot was...Poor Prowl..poor, poor lonely Prowl...I can't think of anything worse for him to endure. Theres nothing worse than being haunted by such memories... *cries*

Thank you! I'm (sort of) glad this had such an impact on you. I'll gladly pass the tissues, but I'm pleased Prowl's distress came across so clearly. It was a slightly odd viewpoint to write from, and I wanted to see how it worked. Thanks for commenting :)
