While it is a little odd that they would....commit at such a odd/random time (hinting at a quite intense day before the day off in this fic...), this tells so much about them "keeping others guessing" mentioned in 'Yellow ribbon' and how that actually work on the Ark crew =D

Thanks for your comment! This was actually written after 'Yellow Ribbon', so that was sort of in the back of my mind, although I don't really see these two short fics as being in the same timeline, necessarily.

I don't think Ratchet really knows how intense the day before was - all he saw was the arguments, not the reasons or tension behind them. But then Jazz and Prowl, both in a passionate and riled up mood, found themselves with a day off and a guarantee of no interruptions from their fellow officers...
