It very nearly did happen to me. My teacher basically told me that if I didn't get everything in, I'd be put on the not-graduating list. I wasn't aware there was a not-graduating list (I thought they made it at the end of the year orz). ;;;;;;; My resolution this quarter is to hand everything in on time. We'll see how far I get. x__X
Yeah, I realized I'd stopped updating unless something big happened, and then that all the big stuff that was happening to me wasn't really happy stuff. I'll do my best to make it lighter! (Speaking of snow, it was supposed to snow today. Instead, it thunderstormed. At like, eleven at night. And now, when it gets cold again and everything freezes, it'll all turn to ice. D:)
That's our usual habit. Won't update until many major things happen - which ends up to be mostly bad stuffs. I'm trying to break that habit and post more daily reflection posts.
I worry for the sidewalk when snow and water turn to ice. I worry that people will trip outside my house and sue us :D
Daily reflection posts: Go! We can both work toward our goal. \o/ I should use this for more than just looking at members-only communities, anyway.
You're nicer than a lot of the people in my town, it sounds like. It's so hard to walk home from school because the sidewalks are never completely shoveled. Especially the part right after the school goes into the road. It's like, not really their responsibility anymore, but no one else will shovel it because it still looks like part of the school grounds. So walking is a matter of keeping your balance and trying to hurry so that people behind you don't try to pass in front, all the while crossing your fingers and desperately hoping that you won't trip and twist your ankle. D:
Don't worry, Lisa. You're not the only one. I got an F and I've basically shut down in my class. My mom is going to talk to my guidance counselor and english teacher tomorrow.
And it seems like I'm going to be getting a therapist out of all of this too, so yaaaaay for that.
What is it with English class in general this year? D: My guidance counselor has offered (twice) to let me drop down to CP. It's like, past a certain point, I go, "what's the point?" and just stop trying. Ugh.
A therapist? Out of curiosity and a lack of knowledge of how to immediately respond, do you think you should have one?
blahhhhh school. Hope you manage to survive the three more months before it lets out. ♥♥♥♥♥♥
Idk man. It seems like everyone has been ldjasdkakl about it. Though, I doubt they have an F like I do. (Though the combo of B- & F = D+ on midgrade >_> It dropped my grdpntavrg to 3.3 OTL Think NHS will kick me out now?)
Probably, yeah. It might help me get my priorities straight and some emotional tension that I have, I guess. I've already given the power chord to my main comp to my dad. So now I'm downstairs working on my mom's laptop.
Hopefully I will! I definitely want to walk at least.
...Three point three is still higher than my GPA. .__. (Probably they won't. If they kick you out, they'd have kicked me out looooong ago, haha.)
Yeah, sometimes it's nice to talk things through with someone who has experience dealing with situations like that. Cathartic, like. Hope it goes well.
Walking's good. It's a start, at the least. It's better than just managing to stand on your own two feet. And if you can walk, you can at least still keep moving forward. /cheese
