Soon I will be leaving for Ambercon Northwest for a week! People who might think about coming next year: the Summer Solstice 2011 is the time you need to decide.

Here is my schedule so far: )

For the dinner does the bar still do thulu bits to go?

Probably, though I prefer things the other way around when it comes to eating elder gods. But yeah, takeout from the pub sounds like possibly the way to go...

We actually GAIN an hour, which is extra yummy. (Fall back turns 3 a.m. into 2 a.m. all over again!)

If you do decide to bring a toaster, can you let me know? I am pondering bringing bread, peanut butter, and some sort of jelly that does not require refrigeration after opening, but the ability to make toast would be spectacular. :) Wishing we had an electric teakettle for oatmeal and tea, of course.

Ah! Thank you for your L33t M4ths. :) I'm definitely bringing a toaster, but I'm not sure how shareable it will be in the mornings... So much coordination. So early. Later on, NP...

For heating water I'm using a $10 hotpot I got from Bed Bath and Beyond with a coupon for 20% off the $10... It's light. Just a plastic container around a hotpad.

Rock, I work just down the street from BB&B. I may even be able to scrounge a coupon! :)

No worries on the toaster. I'm good with PB&J for breakfast as well. :)

For the past 3 or 4 years I've brought my hot water pot (3L) and left it plugged in at the Admin Lodge kitchen...Before then, I had a smaller one in my room. Being a tea snob, a hot water carafe that previously contained coffee is irrevocably tainted. I don't know if they just never rinsed them out properly, or what...

Also, the front desk usually has a dedicated hot water pot at most hours (mostly for tea, altho I'm sure you could fill a cup and just add your oatmeal).

Yep! We'll see whether the game turns out to need a coldblooded organize-y learn-y type. <3 is my feeling too, though.

We should arrange to do some drinking, since you chose all the non-cool games to game in and thus we have no overlap.
