Peppered Pecans

12 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
2¼ cups sugar
3 tablespoons freshly ground black peppers
1¼ teaspoons fine sea salt
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1¼ teaspoons ground allspice
1¼ teaspoons ground cloves
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
Pinch ground cardamom
2 large egg whites
2 pounds raw pecan halves

Preheat oven to 325°F.

I graduated this past spring and I'm working in DC now. I'll be home for a few days this weekend for xmas if you'll be there?
