Pike/Ayel! I've never read this pairing before, and you've made them glorious together! The evil Vulcans scared the crap out of me, and so did cold, hard Pike. Seeing him unthaw was just wonderful. Loved every word <3

Very cool worldbuilding and character development! I loved seeing Pike unbend.

P.S.: "aggressive insecurity" is such a great description of this story's early Spock, it made me chuckle. *g*

I've been waiting to read this fic for awhile . It's awesome. It's like an inter negative of the movie scenario. I sympathized with the Vulcans in the movie but the way you portrayed, they so deserved to be blown up.

Your Ayel is a masterpiece.

Thanks for the wonderfully long comment on my BB. I'm really glad you enjoyed all the twists and turns. I actually started out vaguely thinking of Jim/Bones but in the end it made me happy to get him back with Jocelyn!
