Writing statistics...

I'm filling in the Author Spotlight questions for jim_and_bones and doing some stats on my fic in the process.

Since posting my first ever fanfic on 6 June 2010 We'll have words later I have posted 42 stories with a total of 178 600 words. With another 45 000 words in beta for my big bang, that is 223 600 words! Wow. I could have done a lot of other things

Wow...you're about to break 200,000 words - I'm feeling inadequate - I think I'm only at about 80,000. And they are such great words too - I go back to so much of your stuff for inspiration - especially A Mighty Fine Man (and its sequels), The Morning After (and its sequels) and Who You Belong To (no I don't have a pairing preference there at all :) - although I'm also fond of Pretty Boy). Big Bang beta in progress...

Yes but you have 80k of high quality psychological insight (plus the odd tentacle). I have 200k of beagles and all sorts of other random stuff. Although 80k is a perfectly respectable book. It is amazing how it adds up when you aren't looking.

"Wow. I could have done a lot of other things in that time." Like what? What is more important than fan fic, I ask you?? That's right...nothing! :D

By the way, I was just thinking the other day that the Pike/McCoy stories certainly are getting to be few and far between. Subtle hint.

:) Well, my big bang is Pike/Ayel, which doesn't help. But my Merry Trekmas fic will be Pike/McCoy. And I really should write the next episode in the A Mighty Fine Man series.... So much to be done!
