I just want to say again how much I love this - for not having many small kids in your life you are spot on with Joanna - in fact change her hair color and that's Sam (never had an unvoiced thought, never met a stranger).

That is ridiculously adorable. Poor McCoy! And Joanna! Trying to rub the green off of Gaila! So cute.

The green bit is based on a friend whose daughter (aged about 3, from rural Spain) had never seen a black man until she landed at Heathrow and met an immigration official with very dark skin. Apparently she grabbed him full of excitement and tried to see if she could rub it off. Luckily he thought the whole thing very funny.

This was wonderful! Joanna was adorable and irresistible! I especially loved the little details. Bones warning Jim against flirting with his ex, Boyce knowing exactly who Len is and Pike accepting it all with an easy grace.
