Zat is secretly very fond of his bunnies. The hatbox not only has spikes, but it is reinforced with steel.

I’ve always understood him to be a responsible businessman; the papers really are unkind to him. The man adopts underprivileged children! He is entitled to a good party every once in a while, much like Angelina Jolie. But you just love her, don’t you? Fucking tabloids.

Haha, oh god. That's great. I wonder if his opinion would change if he knew Bruce was Batman, and those 'underprivileged children' are his Robins (and Batgirl, if you include the fact he ended up adopting Cass in the end). Hehe...

He'd be even more impressed. He doesn't quite understand why Batman might not be the most suitable guy to settle down with. I think all of his Bat-interactions consist of comparing Tim to Supergirl and growing up about 45 minutes away from Gotham City.

Is the tiger an Authority reference, or am I just reading too much into it?
And I'd love to be a fly on the wall if or when Zat suggests to Zatanna that she should date Bruce Wayne.

It's a Gotham Girls reference. DCAU Zatanna has a white tiger. It's canon!

They've actually come pretty close recently, only to be stopped by Bruce and Selina's TRUE LOVE and Zatanna totally setting them up. Which made me happy, because Bruce/Selina and Bruce and Zatanna being BFF are two of my favorite things. Well, Bat-things, anyway.
