Personally the only season of Buffy I didn't like was the fourth season. Season six started weak but picked up momentum during the Dark Willow ending, and while the final season was uneven at the worst of times, it contained some of my favorite episodes, including Conversations with Dead People and Same Time, Same Place, which I thought was possibly the single scariest episode of the entire series.

I liked seasons 4 and 5, possibly because they focused on Willow quite a bit.

And season 5 had Glory, the best of all the Buffy villains.
