It's very rare I cook anything with seafood, but there was a rather broad hint from a certain group of lasses that crab stuffed mushrooms might be welcome.
Salmon wrapping isn't crazy. Consider the salmon-wrapped timbale. Line a pinch bowl, ramekin or whatever your mold is with plastic wrap, then a layer of smoked salmon; then with whatever you want to fill it with (usually some combination of cream cheese, dill, capers, cucumber, tomato--but in layers), pressing down till the mold is filled; then fold the ends of the salmon back over to make a little package, press down and chill until it's taken the shape, then unmold it and serve
