Oof, I haven't posted here in a while! WOOPS. Tumblr is going into a full meltdown over the new ban on adult content, so it'll be interesting to see where people disperse to. Honestly I'm a little bummed because I was actually pretty comfortable on tumblr, I had my own corner set up where everyone was chill and I followed chill people who posted funny stuff, it was pretty convenient. A lot of people are going to twitter but I still don't really get much about how it works... I may end up posting to a ghost town again on Tumblr like here on LJ/DW, haha.
I've been playing way too much Binding of Isaac Rebirth lately uuuughhh. That game is entirely too addictive. I should really get the DLC for it already...
Anyway, it is that time of year again! Holiday requests! This year I REALLY don't know how timely I'll be in replying to these, since for once I'm actually not going to be around for Christmas! I'll be going on a trip for around ten days at the end of the month. It's a bit weird, cause it feels sad to be here for Christmas by myself without Nana, and it also feels weird to go somewhere else for Christmas... I dunno, but I'm committed to going, so that's what'll happen! But it does mean that I may be late in replying to your comments.
But enough preamble! If you want a little holiday sketch, leave a comment here and ask for one! These will be quick, silly doodles in Sai - you may want to look at previous years for an idea of what they look like ( 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, and 2009). Requests are closed on January 1st, so if you want one you got to make it in December.
A few stipulations:
-Don't ask for like a million characters. Along the same lines don't ask for gross stuff, use your common sense here (if you're an exception to this rule, you already know who you are). Don't try to trick me into drawing gross stuff either.
-Link me to some reference pictures, unless you know I know the source material pretty well already. Please do this, it saves me SO much time.
-One request per person. Anonymous is fine. Don't try to duck around this. You can make multiple suggestions in ONE comment for me to pick from, but I'll only do one of them.
-I may interpret your request in a way you don't expect - that's the risk you take! No refunds, haha.
-If you're too embarrassed to post the request publically you can send me an LJ or tumblr note about it.
-If you request something I don't feel comfortable drawing I may ask you to ask for something else.
-I'm way more likely to spend more time on your request if it's something I'm already interested in.
When I finish the sketch, I'll reply to your comment with it, so don't worry that I'm ignoring you, haha. Unless its just a general chatty comment or something.
If you want to do something for me in return, uuuuh hmm... anything Lady related is a good bet, as well as anything skelebro or handplates related. Anything with my OCs really, I'm not hugely picky! If you actually want to spend money for some reason (!?), I like remix albums if you can find them, and paid time for Dreamwidth or LJ wouldn't be bad (I'm pretty sure you can buy paid time for others on here?) but I'm just throwin stuff out there.
