There's E3 news and such I should talk about at some point but I'm not feeling it right now, I just want to do more Mother 1 and draw more characters as neko atsume cats so that's what I'm gonna do.

I love the Mother 1 version of Magicant. I spent a whole lot of time there when I played it.

Huh. I didn't know you could skip talking to Queen Mary. I mean, you have to talk to her eventually, because [SPOLIERS]. Of course, the great thing about Magicant is that you can go there as many times as you like. If you go there with Lloyd, you can get a neat item for him.

(Also, use telepathy on the castle guards. And the fountain.)

The Mother Encyclopedia goes into quite a bit of detail on Thanksgiving Town. The two factories (one north of town one south) were both built by a Mr. Goldrich Duncan, who came to town in the 1950s. He's currently trying to build a "strip theater" (yes, really) in town.

I love the school music. The bell is a nice touch.

Also, the doctor in town? He always charges half your money, which means if you come to him with $0, he'll heal you for free.

EIGHT?! That is a travesty, I mean I GUESS it's probably hardware limitations or something but MAN that's something for a port to... take care of. I am just saying.

I find it suspicious that the doctor wants to charge EXACTLY half the money you have on you. Is it always half? Can you... game this by like depositing everything except $2 or whatever?

There's a philosopher in Magicant you talk to who will give you a nickname: Stupid Face Ninten. Later, if you tell Suzy she's ugly, she'll also call you Stupid Face. I actually like EB0's version better...
