~Fun with Mother 3 - Tonda Gossa!
I found out you can pass down dream world abilities if the Pokemon is female, so I've been doing some chain breeding to pass along egg moves and the like. In the process I'm ending up with a bunch of extra Pokemon with egg moves/hidden abilities, so I'm probably just going to toss em on the GTS for peanuts. I like imagining someone out there trading a Woobat for one of them and being like :OOO at what they get in response, haha. Dang, I should check if that Magikarp I got from the Dreamworld was female too, I could toss up some Moxie Magikarps if that's the case.
ANYWAY let's continue with Mother 3! In the last installment Lucas got a part time job and finally found his way into the amusingly named Club Titiboo, teeheehee. WHAT WILL HAPPEN INSIDE??

Alright, here's the dungeon map! It looks small, but there's a bunch of junk in each of the rooms that make it hard to move around a bit, and each room respawns enemies when you walk into it, so if you end up backtracking you'll get your health chipped down pretty consistently. IT CAN BE VERY TIRING

This battle can be a bit tough, but your first goal should be to kill the drum and guitar, since otherwise they can team up with the bass and do a combo attack.
OH YEAH also I think the Bass and the guitars share the same basic theme, which is Rock n Roll. There are two versions, Mild and Spicy that mostly sound the same, tho I think the Spicy one has some stops in there to screw up your combos. It's the same basic theme as Franky Fly back in EarthBound though. :D MEMORIES

Oh here we go. This is a bit hard to catch in screencaps, but Duster pauses a lot when he's talking. I don't mean he uses a lot of ellipses (although he does that too), but he'll do this thing where the dialogue window will come up like this and his sprite will move like he's talking, but there'll be a few seconds before the text actually appears. It's not lag or something, it's deliberate. He's not the only one who does this, since it has happened before a few times, but he definitely does it more often than most of the other characters, at least during this sequence. Lends some credence to some of you guys' theories on Duster being a hesitant speaker! Or even having a speech impediment like Del suggested. :o Either way it's not hard to guess why he'd be careful about what he says.

This whole sequence just gets even sadder when you think about Duster's life before this happened. His entire previous life just training, sleeping, and getting yelled at by Wes about how he's no good at anything he does. Can't make any decisions about his life or whether or not he wanted to be a thief, it's all out of his control. Then he loses his memory, winds up at the club, and gets taken in by four strangers that all genuinely seem to like him. He learns to play the bass and people really like him for what he does for once. He's popular, he's successful, people cheer for him, his bandmates support him, hang out with him, make him laugh, and don't judge him about anything. He's got real friends for like the first time ever.
And in the end he has to leave them to finish what he started, even though he can't remember why. He leaves his happy life and his first friends to go with a group of people he can't remember, because what he thinks was destiny told him to. I mean, that'd be a pretty hard thing to walk away from in general, even if you knew who you were going with and why it was important. But he still does it, even though it's hard. It's just like awwww

This battle can be a bit tough, but your first goal should be to kill the drum and guitar, since otherwise they can team up with the bass and do a combo attack.
OH YEAH also I think the Bass and the guitars share the same basic theme, which is Rock n Roll. There are two versions, Mild and Spicy that mostly sound the same, tho I think the Spicy one has some stops in there to screw up your combos. It's the same basic theme as Franky Fly back in EarthBound though. :D MEMORIES

Oh here we go. This is a bit hard to catch in screencaps, but Duster pauses a lot when he's talking. I don't mean he uses a lot of ellipses (although he does that too), but he'll do this thing where the dialogue window will come up like this and his sprite will move like he's talking, but there'll be a few seconds before the text actually appears. It's not lag or something, it's deliberate. He's not the only one who does this, since it has happened before a few times, but he definitely does it more often than most of the other characters, at least during this sequence. Lends some credence to some of you guys' theories on Duster being a hesitant speaker! Or even having a speech impediment like Del suggested. :o Either way it's not hard to guess why he'd be careful about what he says.

Man this song might be one of the very few overt displays of affection that Duster's ever got from anyone.
This whole sequence just gets even sadder when you think about Duster's life before this happened. His entire previous life just training, sleeping, and getting yelled at by Wes about how he's no good at anything he does. Can't make any decisions about his life or whether or not he wanted to be a thief, it's all out of his control. Then he loses his memory, winds up at the club, and gets taken in by four strangers that all genuinely seem to like him. He learns to play the bass and people really like him for what he does for once. He's popular, he's successful, people cheer for him, his bandmates support him, hang out with him, make him laugh, and don't judge him about anything. He's got real friends for like the first time ever.
And in the end he has to leave them to finish what he started, even though he can't remember why. He leaves his happy life and his first friends to go with a group of people he can't remember, because what he thinks was destiny told him to. I mean, that'd be a pretty hard thing to walk away from in general, even if you knew who you were going with and why it was important. But he still does it, even though it's hard. It's just like awwww
