hahaha, I do like how you managed to trip over the game ending. kind of neat that you were able to talk your way out of the final boss haha. although to be honest I didn't even know that he WAS the final boss for most of this. The story feels kind of disorganized.

this is especially funny since Fallout New Vegas is being played in the other room haha

just OOPS, I GUESS THE GAME IS OVER NOW haha

Yeah I dunno, probably playing it in such chunks so far apart probably made the game seem more incoherent than it is, haha

Hurrah! Dogmeat saved the wasteland.

As for the actual story, I dunno. maybe the story was better back in the day. It's nice to have a villian with an actual plan to conquer the world, even if, you know, he hadn't noticed that his mutovirus makes everyone sterile.

Also he didn't notice you blew up his mutation center either, what a doof!

Huh, I didn't know the Brotherhood started as guards for the FEV researchers. At least I think that's the Brotherhood. Wasn't Maxson their founder?

Black Isle/Obsidian really like the "talk down the boss" approach. It shows up in almost every game they make. Though it does tend to be a bit anticlimactic.

I think you shot the overseer because you took Bloody Mess at the beginning? Kind of a weird choice on the designers' part, you'd think they'd let the player decide whether to kill him.

The plots of the first two Fallouts really are kind of a mess. Chalk it up to experimenting with an open-ended story. Fallout 3 just doesn't bother having multiple paths, but New Vegas manages to give the player a lot of choices without becoming incoherent (usually). It also tells you what happens to your companions afterward if they survive to the ending, which is a nice touch.

Morpheus just can't resist those pretty lashes.

Yeah I think he was, now that you mention it! I guess that'd explain why the Brothers had such advanced tech? I admit a lot of it gets sort of blurry for me, haha.

I LIKE IT, IT'S VERY DIFFERENT although it does have some downsides, but I sort of like having it as an option, haha.

Ooooh yeah that'd explain it. :O How random though! Haha RADIC'S JUST HAD ENOUGH OF YOU SHEEPDOG, NOW IT IS THE END FOR YOU

Haha are they? I heard 2 was better in 1 in that it was a bit more polished and silly and had a lot of fun details and stuff, like Pikmin 1 to 2, but I haven't played it so it's hard to say. :O I know Alix doesn't like 3 or the newer ones at all, but he's a hardcore Fallout fan sooooo

WHO COULD SAY NO TO SUCH EXPERTLY APPLIED MASCARA?

IT'S SO FRUSTRATING ARRRRGHHHH

Haha well I'm glad it was fun to watch. |D I do want to give 2 a try at some point! I heard a lot of good stuff about it which has intrigued me. :D And now I have the background of 1 as well so if they make any sly references I can catch them, haha.

That sounds sort of vaguely familiar, but I'm not sure. :O Sounds sort of neat though.
