LAST TIME we found out there were a bunch of supermutants somewhere I'd have to kill, and the Brotherhood of Steel wanted me to go to someplace called the Glow for some reason. Sounds fun! And healthy!

I want to take a moment here to mention that the item system in this game is remarkably stupid, and that just using the rope in my inventory gave me a "That didn't do much" message and made it vanish entirely, causing me to load and try again. I think you have to select the rope, or the hole, and then select the rope or something FRICK I DON'T REMEMBER IT'S JUST ANNOYING BASICALLY

Amusingly enough, the robot used a normal gun to shoot at me and company. I dunno why the image of a robot holding a sniper rifle cracks me up so much. WELL WHATEVER IT'S MINE NOW, BUDDY

Upon being blinded, the robot promptly ran away. Ha, sucker.

I didn't take caps of this, sadly, but Alix told me a certain grenade works good on the robots, and this battle was actually pretty tough. So at one point I decided to try throwing the grenade at a pretty close range, which promptly incinerated me, Tycho, AND the robot. OOPS.
I had to load and try again, as you can imagine.

Hey, all the specimen tubes are up! Let's see if Jenova's in one.
My favorite magazine.
Also that armor in there was way better than the metal armor, as well as way lighter. ALL THAT ITEM SHUFFLING LAST TIME FOR NOTHING

I was briefly concerned going in that Ian, Tycho, and Dogmeat might have trouble with the Glow since I didn't give THEM any Rad-X, but actually it seems they are perfectly fine. I AM THE ONLY ONE SUBSCEPTIBLE TO RADIATION POISONING I GUESS

Anyway, now that I've got their thing, surely the Brotherhood will let me in now! I wonder what stuff they've got in there. Maybe some neat stained glass windows or organs or something.
