What's with the Mother series? Earthbound had one of the scariest endings and Mother 3 had one of the saddest. This though... this just takes it to a new level. It's over the top for the sake of being over the top. What I can say is that I pity the chosen four a lot more than I used to.

Excuse me while I go and cry forever.

That's part of what I liked about the Mother series, that it could jump from lighthearted goofiness to incredibly freaky terror and right back again and you're like omg. IT GOES THERE

man that's so awesome

it sounds like the NESS NESS NESS is just some teenage guy though, which kinda ruins it, also the growling voice is just silly, but the crying babies and laughter(?) and that weird auuuhhh noise are nice touches

THE NESS VOICE COULD BE DEEPER I AGREE although if giygas is mimicking ness's voice or something idk
THE GROWLY VOICE GOING IT HURTS JUST REALLY FREAKS ME OUT, IT MATCHES UP TO MY MENTAL VOICE FOR GIYGAS TOO WELL DDDD:

I haven't even played Earthbound, though I have been watching my friend play.
But holy shit.
I'm pretty sure this is by far the most horrifying thing my eyes have ever seen.
And the music. If you would call it that.
I'm not sure I'll ever be able to sleep again.

O_O...if anyone needs me, I'm going to be huddled in the corner of my room, whimpering and crying around the thumb in my mouth, clutching my security blanket. I MAY BE THERE A WHILE.

I don't know, its not that bad..

I mean with some nice carpeting and a new sofa it would feel just like home.
And the endless demonic crying neatly drowns out the local traffic noise!
