I bailed early last night because I was looking at the clock on Nitrogen, which has been an hour fast ever since the DST switch, since changing the time zone offset on a Linux box is like pulling teeth, handfuls of teeth, handfuls of teeth out your ass.
I like how it manages to fool me every single goddamn time. I can look at the clock on Magnesium, or the clock on my cell phone, or my wristwatch, BUT NO. LOOK AT THE ONLY CLOCK THAT DISPLAYS THE WRONG TIME.
I KNOW RIGHT I KNOW RIGHT THAT FRIGGING SEQUENCE WAS LIKE FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
EVENTUALLY I JUST WENT LEFT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND THAT MOSTLY GOT ME OUT OF THE FIRST LOOP AND THEN I KIND OF WINGED IT FROM THERE, EVENTUALLY YOU SEE A SIGN POINTING RIGHT BUT WHAT IT REALLY MEANS IS TURN AROUND TO THE BUILDING YOU JUST CAME OUT OF SINCE THERE'S A DOOR OVER ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THAT WALL AND IT'S LIKE AAAAGH
I DID SEE THAT AND THEY PET HARRY SOMETIMES TOO OR JUST HOLD HIM AND ITS LIKE HMMM HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
i don't mind it either really it's not bad, i just wish they made the escape routes more clear man that is my main complaint at the moment IT BECOMES V FRUSTRATING AFTER A WHILE
I FINISHED THE GAME AND Yea you're right the threat level in the game is like really absent :O
I found a more effective way to toss monsters off is to turn the remote to correspond to the direction they've attached themselves to you and then slam the remote and nunchuck onto your lap. It worked a lot more for me to get the ones who clung to my sides off :U And mine ended up being kinda segmented with crosses for heads with giant holes in them o_O I AM NOT ENTIRELY SURE HOW THIS GAME JUDGES THAT
So now in my second playthrough I'm being EXTRA SLUTTY and spaztic because you have a lot of freedom of movement in scenes so I'm just fooling around with everything that I had previously respected :D
I really enjoyed the game, but am not sure what to make of it :U
ALSO future nightmare worlds become even more circular or labyrinth like And towards the end for me Harry slams through a door and suddenly EVERYTHING WAS BLACK and you couldn't see him or the flashlight or anything but you could pull out the phone, which was invisible too, but by memory you could save and stuff and it was like what Turns out it was a glitch IF THAT HAPPENS JUST RESET :U
ALSO ALSO If you're in the nightmare world and your cell phone isn't going off that means the monsters are pretty far away, you actually can get a fair amount of time to look at the map (and if you hit zoom then you can look at it without worrying about the monsters popping in) and when they approach you'll see little purple squares roaming HOPEFULLY THAT'LL HELP
Ahhhhhhhhhh I want to play Shattered Memories so bad, but my Silent Hill Gaming friend is now in the next town over ;A;
WE BEAT ALL THE SILENT HILL GAMES EXCEPT ORIGINS TOGETHER. I CAN'T DO THIS ALONE ;A;
Though maybe with the lack of combat, I could actually do it... tbh the chase scenes would probably be better for someone like me. And would probably make me freak out.
Everyone but me seems to hate/dislike Homecoming. >_>; I mean it's no my favorite but I did like some parts of it...
I APPRECIATE THE LACK OF COMBAT ON ONE HAND BUT ON THE OTHER... IDK
hahahaha there are a few people out there that like homecoming. I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL I REALLY LOVED THE MOVIE AND SH4 AND A LOT OF SHFANS REALLY HATED BOTH THOSE THINGS
...Dude I love SH4 o_o like, adore it. I rp Henry, actually. XD And I loved how Eileen would actually go and try to fight Walter WHILE HURT, and Walter was just a fascinating antagonist who really made you feel bad and ARGH I loved that game ;A;
The movie... my ONLY real beef with it is replacing Harry with Rose, but other then that, it was a decent game to movie transition... well, as good as it's going to get, ya know >_>;
