~Fun with Star Control 2 - Pestering the Dnyarri
I'm sick. GOD MOCKS ME YET AGAIN. I seriously don't hope this becomes a trend or something because the last thing I want to be when someone dies is sick. I have a huge headache and I can't breathe and my throat hurts. My voice is shot and it kind of feels like my head is full of cotton. I've spent most of today in an emotionless, tired stupor. I have barely any energy to do anything. I've drifted off in my chair to this song a few times along with the Monster soundtrack. Thanks Fearsum.
I did sleep for a while last night, which is good because I couldn't sleep at all the night before. I think part of why I had trouble sleeping is cause my finger hurt so much. It was throbbing and swollen. It still hurts a lot today.
Dieter slept with me last night, the night before, and the night before Sky died. I keep thinking that he's Sky before I wake up and remember. I still don't think it's really hit me that Sky is dead just yet. I guess I kind of feel like maybe he's gone somewhere and will be back soon.
Poor Sky. I wish he could have gone peacefully. I should take some pictures of the paintings and such I have of him around the house. It's kind of weird to think that both Sky and Diablo are gone. Sky lasted for a much longer time than Deeb, but it's still hard fer me ta really comprehend them being gone.
I miss Skywise.
By the way buy some art here please for good cause. yes.
Why a Starcon2 adventure so soon?
Mostly cause my thoughts tend to come back to Starcon2, especially now that I feel like this. I look to Starcon2 to make me smile, make me laugh, give me something to do, and it works. Starcon2 makes me feel better.
For those of you following along and interested in the japanese/english voice comparisons, would you prefer I organized it by the aliens you meet in order chronologically, or the alien races alphabetically? I can't decide myself.

WE HAVE OPENED THE SUBTERRANEAN VAULT WHICH CONTAINED THE SYREEN SPACE PATROL PENETRATOR STARSHIPS. THE SYREEN CAPTAINS HAVE ASSUMED COMMAND OF THEIR VESSELS AND INSTRUCTED US TO RENDEZVOUS WITH THEM BACK AT BETELGEUSE.

Oh woops. You can't really see it very well here, but the Pkunk sphere of influence just vanished into the Yehat sphere of influence. Probably shoulda done somethin about that.
You can see the Ilwrath have finally met the Thraddash and both their spheres are slowly closing down.
Doing these really does make me feel a little better.
Anyway, next up, the Syreen ambush.
