Yea, absinthe is a kind of alcohol but with a lovely neurotoxin as well. Supposedly it's a hallucinogenic but the ratio of liqueur to poison has to be just right or ya know DEATH. I get the feeling that they just color some normal alcoholic drink green and call it absinthe to avoid the whole thing and charge people 70 to 140 dollars for a bottle.
Oh, this game looks absolutely awesome. It reminds me so much of the 7th Guest! As soon as I clear up 7 gigs on my computer I'm going to find it! You're commentary is hilarious: HANDS HANDS ALL OVER MY YOUNG NUBILE BODY. I like that she sees that friggin green DEATH CLOUD and is all like "Well that was alarming now what shall I make for dinner?" Get the hell out of the house >.< christ.
YES it is very much like 7th Guest! I think 7th Guest predated Phantasmagoria though (and was also done by a different company) but they were very similar games. Except that 7th guest had those INSANELY HARD PUZZLES RARR
Pantry. Yep.

Is it bad that I recognize that the bottles on either end of the bar are Corona tequila with the brand changed? :O And if there's tequila (and what looks like rum or vodka, NO I'M NOT A LUSH) why is Don going for the absinthe? That stuff will mess with your head. Probably it's for the SATANIC RITUALS oooo.
The running commentary is hilarious. Hmmm. Mom's still got her old 486....what are the system requirements for this game?

I have no idea why Don is chugging the Absinthe. Later on Adrienne is like "DON WOULDN'T DRINK THIS :O" which makes me think that yes he would. I DON'T KNOW.

I read this right before I went to bed last night and I wound up having a dream about it. I dremt that I was in the game and was fighting off the evil possesed people. Things were not going well until Superman showed up to give me a hand. We kept making witty one liners to each other as we fought off the bad guys. Things got progressivly gayer from there.
