I bought DVDs! Enchanted, Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and The Devil Wears Prada. They were uber cheap - P150, P199, and P150 respectively (which is like $3.50-$5 each) and at a later date I'll buy Ever After and Sound of Music. I realized late that I want to collect these things - I was looking for Prince Caspian but ( Read more... )

'Dawn Treader' was... okay, I think? Although by the end of the film I forgot why they were sailing in the first place, or what the whole movie was about. It was forgettable, save for Eustace who really made the movie for me :D

I'm sorry I just... really don't like her, which I know is somewhat an unpopular opinion. And I hope so, too! Gai shows a lot of promise and it'll be a waste of his character if he'll be written off as nothing more than Genta 2.0.

Don is... I don't know. He's been a fan favorite and I sort of understand why, though I do like his character more when he's in-suit than out of it - though that I attribute to GokaiGreen's suit actor more than anything. He's nice in little doses but I really think his antics have gone old by now :\

Collecting is fun, but since I'm always trying to have a reduced amount of personal stuff, if I ever get DVDs eventually I either sell or donate them. Happened with Supernatural and some workout DVDs I used to own, eh. Ever After and Sound of Music are some of the stories I absolutely love!

Gai is one crazy fanboy. Much of his actions actually made me cringe, even if I was laughing at the same time. But I think I like him. It's rare for me to dislike a Sentai hero, and I don't think he's an exception. Now, whether how much I'll end up liking him is another story. Guess I'll have to keep an eye for that one.

Oh god I could just watch those two all day :P I haven't really indulged in buying DVDs since they were originally very expensive here, but with the prices slashed like this I absolutely had to buy them :P

I usually don't have an opinion of sixth rangers, really. Hikaru's an exception since I adored him with Urara and who doesn't love Hiroto and Miu, but the others? Eh. Same with Gai in this instance, but I'm inclined to think less of him if he turns out to be like Genta in appearance and behavior. Not that I don't like Genta, but one of him is enough.

Ever After is awesome, and one of the best things is that the heroine is such a strong spirit (while also having a kind soul), willing to stand up and fight, even before her man arrives (which she wasn't even expecting). I love it when the women are strong and don't merely stand back, waiting for a man to do it for them. No wonder Eowyn and Luka are some of my favorite girls, and I never find myself too fond of Buttercup. Sound of Music... it's Julie Andrews, and one can never have enough of her singing, can they? Some of the best classics are there... *dreamy eyes*

Hikaru/Urara is one of the sweetest canon Sentai couples. They were my favorite before Rio/Mele happened... And very true for Go-on Wings. Hiroto was love at first sight, and Miu, once I got to know her, I loved her, too. LOL, it seems that everyone is agreeing on Gai being a Genta 2.0... it's almost unanimous! Yeah, hopefully Gai will show his unique colors as the story progresses. Each character, even if similar to others, should be unique enough.

I once owned the soundtrack of Sound of Music and knew the lyrics to all of the songs! Haha. I wonder now where that CD of mine went :\

I have high hopes for Gai, since I have faith in the writers and plot-wise, they haven't yet disappointed me, so.
