My brain is struggling with five ideas at the same time and while I kind of want to write all of them, I also don't feel like jumping into a real story right now. The solution, of course, would be drabbling all over the place, which is why your support would be most appreciated. Which is to say:

Hee no problem, although I would either have a)chosen random German lyrics just to see what came out or b)seen what GoogleTranslate would have done to it :P

Anyway, lyrics I chose (with some rearranging because I cheat):

For me this kinda screams Merlin (Arthur/Merlin), but if you can make it work for H50 (Steve/Danny) then that would be fine too :)

Oh God, honey, this is so heart-wrenchingly beautiful and it feels true to Danny's character - damaged but not beyond repair, and his reasoning for the thing with Rachel rings true. So much love for this, and this Danny, and you. <3

So, late comment is really, really late (sorry!) - but this was really good! Somehow I was totally expecting something from Steve's POV, but from this side of Danny - it totally makes sense.

And I rather liked the descriptions of the 'monster'.
