#1: I love summer. There is nothing better than sitting outside in the sun in only a short dress and with an iced coffee in front of you. Nothing. I approve of summer arriving early this year. So very hard.
#2: I owe people e-mails and comment replies, I'm sorry. It's not you, it's me! I had ambitious plans of catching up this weekend, but then I

Also, wow, I've only been a vegetarian for a couple of years but I've yet to really have anyone taunt me about it.
I wish, I really really wish, summer would arrive in Portland, OR. Sigh.

It's not in a mean way, you know? Just... people who think it's a funny joke. Which, um. Maybe it was not-too-bad the first time, but the second, it already grew a beard and seriously, I've heard it in so many variations, seen it, jokingly putting the pan with meat right in front of me only to apologize, that sort of thing. *sighs* Hey, I'm not telling you not to eat meat, so can we just... treat it like a non-issue?
Ah, sorry. It is really getting so old I find it hard to drudge up even a tired smile.
Oh, I hope for you it won't be long anymore! When's typically the first time you can leave the house in a t-shirt?

The people at my office are surprisingly pretty awesome about my vegetarianism. We have one vegan person, so she's even pickier. LOL

3. Hah. I've been a pescatarian for a little over four years now! Or something like that. Not entirely sure how long. But I've been thinking more and more about going full veggie. I'd really love to go vegan (or at least give up dairy) but it's hard.
5. At the speed you write, I don't think you'd be unable to catch up! Obviously this means you should start it right now, though! RIGHT THIS MOMENT. /greedy *g*
7. THERE ARE STRAWBERRIES IN MY FRIDGE BUT I THINK MY FATHER BOUGHT THEM FOR SOMETHING SPECIFIC. But I really want to sneak a feeeew.
8. I was pleasantly surprised! I enjoy it a lot. There is one terrible song, about how Brendon's spider died and that made him sad. It's bizarre. The rest of the songs are catchy and pop-y and fun. The b-sides are also quite good.
disarm_d wrote a cap of the CD that was pretty perfect:

3. When I stopped eating meat, I thought it would be hard, but I only VERY rarely crave it, and usually I crave it in more of a, "ANY SORT OF FOOD SOUNDS GOOD, PLEASE FEED ME NOW," kinda of way, rather than a specific, "I want bacon!" kind of way.
5. Ah, too bad. Well, there are other challenges in the sea, ect ect ect. I will wait impatiently.
7. Exactly!
8. Maybe! I don't know if it's a step back--in any case, that implies they're starting from somewhere. And while in a way they are, obviously, I kind of think of it as a totally new band. They're still settling into the new dynamics. It's not a natural progression from their last album because they're not the same band as their last album. It sounds to me like they're just having fun, trying new things, all of that, which I can appreciate. Sometimes it doesn't work (there was one very cringe-worthy short film/music video thing I could barely watch!) and sometimes it really, really does (the song "Hurricane" on the album is one of my favorites songs period in a LONG time ( ... )

And I know that I would LOVE to hear Agent Steve's POV on his and Danny's relationship, especially when Matt and Grace are around.

I was thinking that Steve sneakily tries to find a way to make Matt and Grace stay on the island, without Danny noticing his scheming. Steve would think it would mean Danny being more permanently tied to Hawaii (because Steve has issues, naturally).
