OMG! Pooooor Jensen! That was horrible! I mean, it was excellent writing, but it was horrifying and humiliating. It just made me sad. So, LJ is being a butthead and has finally succeeded in putting a stop to my long comments from my phone. It's trying to stifle me! So, I may have to read at AO3 but OMG, I'm SOOO excited to read this!! The summary damn near broke my heart. Haha And after reading the first story all week, I am SO in the zone for this. I can't wait until I'm done with work so I can dig in. Thank you sooooooo much for this. *hugs*
Thank you. I angsted long and loud over the prologue, because this wasn't kink/fantasy non-con, but a horrible, traumatic thing that happened to a character. And I was very leery about including it so graphically. But it's a really important aspect of the character's development, because pretty much everything that happens after that is him trying to take control of this one situation that was beyond his control; so I ended up deciding that if the character had to endure it maybe we had to endure it too...but with very explicit trigger warnings so that those who really couldn't, could avoid it... As you can see...much angsting! :)
