I quite enjoyed this. I have to say I'm kind of a sucker for Gabriel/Dean. All that power and all that smirk rubbing up against Dean's sarcasm and independence. Great combination.
I like how you danced around the non-con issues and stayed focused on the love story. I thought the rope bondage was just a brilliant, none-violent way to satisfy Dean's needs.
And Sam's reaction to Gabriel was priceless LOL. I was a'feared there for a moment : )
And it was KILLING me that Dean wasn't recognized as the good mechanic he was. If you hadn't fixed that I was going to stalk your LJ until you did a timestamp. I needed Dean's brilliance to be recognized.

Thank you! I haven't read a lot of Gabriel/Dean, but these guys were so much fun to write that I'm definitely planning to read more! They really are a good combo. I'm so pleased the rope bondage worked and that you liked Sam's reaction. He really just wants his brother to be happy!:)
Dean's brilliance definitely needs to be recognised and I was always going to make sure that happened...eventually, after some angst! :)

I absolutely loved this story! The way you played around with the idea of what it means to be dominate or submissive and to not fall in line with the stereotype was fantastic. Also, the rope binding and subspace...wow, I can't even tell you how much I loved that! Great story. This is going on my favorites list for sure. <3

I can't believe I just read that pairing :) But I thought what the hell, just give it a try...and then I couldn't stop!! This was awesome! Loved the world building, the whole backstory of Dean and Gabriel.

Loved the end, and of course Dean would be the one to ask the question. They are just perfect for one another! Romance, domesticity, angst and hot sex!

Haha. You know when I saw this prompt I thought pretty much the same thing! "I can't believe I'm considering writing this pairing...what the hell, I'll give it a go!" And I'm glad I did cuz they were so much fun to write! As my beta reader said, Dean and Gabriel both love food, porn, sex and having a good time and they're both smart asses...why wouldn't they get along?
