Iron Man
I desperately need to find someone who found this movie as offensive as I did. Every review, every friend's recount and my boyfriend's face afterwards have only had astoundingly brilliant things to say about it so I'm beginning to question my own sanity.

yeah I see what you're saying, and I don't mean at all to suggest that Iron Man is on the same level as V because that movie is MUCH more intelligent and I agree with you - I think you are supposed to feel uneasy about the whole thing.
But I think Iron Man has pretentions to being like that but sells out to something completely different.
And I still REALLY cannot DEAL with V at all. But like you indicated, maybe that's the message.

But alas, the boyfriend thought it looked fantastic and then absolutely adored it so... I was just along for the ride.
Next time I'm going to pick the Painted Veil or something - pay back
