Aren't there studies proving that the older you get the harder it is to learn a foreign language? I am having a breakdown over this spanish. I don't know what verbs and adjectives are in english, yet I am suppose to be able to form sentences in spanish using verbs and adjectives. does your school offer sign language? sometimes that counts as a second language, and it would be a lot different than learning spanish.

i had tons of trouble with spanish too, back in college. and i was 19 - 21 then. but i did really love the end of your rant.

Do you have to stick with Spanish or can you change to another language? I just thought that you may find German easier.

Good thought, even though K understands German she would be less help to me. When I hear German being spoken it always sounds like people are angry with each other. Its not a pretty language.
