1) Super Bowl tomorrow? Check!

5. Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald: Totally the Jim and Pam of the NFL.
Assuming you're a TV fan who doesn't really follow football, let me explain the match made in heaven-ness that is Arizona quarterback Kurt Warner and wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Basically, this NFL season has been one huge, very successful ( Read more... )

My brother got the box set of Battlestar Galactica and is trying to convince me to watch it...But I already have so many different series I'm trying to keep up with, I'm not sure if I want to. Haha! Is it good?

I absolutely know what you mean!
And I can't tell you yet, I'm just watching the mini-series. So far it mostly seems more serious than the stuff I usually watch (say, Doctor Who, Torchwood, or most recently, Leverage).
I'll be sure to post soon about what I think of it once I get farther in.

hey, back on lj??? ;) I'm only on lj to collect icons! *giggle*
I just wrote to you on facebook. And some minutes ago I had the BEST idea for your birthday present for me. Yeah, I know it's still some time, but I think this present will even be profitable for you in some way! :D

Hard to believe, isn't it?
I saw your wall post, I just didn't have the time to respond properly yet, as I'm editing the Powerpoint presentation for Friday's lecture (oh, and watching Prince of Tennis, but I don't think that counts as an excuse. ^^).
What is this brilliant idea of yours then, eh?

Oh, and about planning, I wouldn't be totally against you taking over from me. *cough* ^^u

I only have one actual exam, but the lecture we have to hold Friday, and the two term papers ... yeah ...

Oh, and about visiting: I'd love for you to visit, but I really am kind of swamped right now, and while I'd love
a) to be distracted for a bit,
and
b) to see you again,
I really don't know how good of a host I really could be. Should get better after Friday though. *ponders*

I had the most brilliant idea ever... it would be that I give you a bunch of DVD-Rs and a huge list what you can burn for me and then you're my "burning slave" for I think, half a year or something like that. What do you think 'bout that???

Okay, so to the planning. It would only be fair, 'cause did mostly all the planning for Paris and even for London. I could do some research. hotel and flight, and talk to you and kathi about it, how does that sound?

Belfast would be great, too. I don't know how far away the cliffs are from Dublin, but I hope a day trip wpuld be enough, so you could go to belfast and Kathi and I go to the cliffs, that would be one solution! But we'll see, first hotel and flight! ;)

Well, according to Google Maps, it's 255 km. Belfast is 166 km away.
From the content of your comments, I take it Virginia's not coming after all? What about Maira, Chris, etc.?
Oh, and when you check out the hotels/b&bs, be sure to send me a shout over FB or something, because I know the different areas a little bit and might be good for input. :)

okay, so I did some research and found a non-stop flight plus a hotel which is also recommended by expedia for 334 Euro per person, for 5 nights. I think that sounds ok??? how can I send such a shout? I know I'm dumb again! ;)
