I've finally had time to think.

I'm not good at writing, I've never been good at it. I don't think I'm good at talking, even. I'm not sure what I'm trying to say, here. I keep hoping that someone will tell me the answer to the equation. So that Ravenclaw prefect is a Death Eater. Fine. I'd seen him around. I won't see him around anymore. This is kind of easy to make up your mind ( Read more... )

I think it shouldn't matter whether I know everything there's to know or not -- the fact remains that four people are dead because he killed them.

And if you think this is easy for anyone here, then fuck you too.

You don't know for a fact that he killed them. He's still unconscious and until he wakes up and explains what happened you can't condemn him because YOU WEREN'T THERE.

Arse.

Okay, so he didn't throttle them with his bare hands. Are we really arguing on the details? Seriously, think of somebody else for a change. Like these people's parents.

I am inclined to agree with you, Smith, Zacharias. Though his side of the story remains to be heard, it is known fact that Boot was practising dark magic in the Forbidden Forest. He may have felt his confrontation with Goldstein was inevitable, but he chose to confront him in a way that put others in danger and resulted in four deaths.

Of course, this Goldstein you're talking about has been heard about recently for "choosing" to knock out a few people and bringing back a Death Eater from a Remembrall.

Ever since a prefect who fit the butter wouldn't melt in his mouth role turned out to be a Death Eater, I've been feeling a bit skeptical about people's motives. You'll have to forgive me, really.

I considered Goldstein a person who was becoming something of a friend. He asked me about improving his Italian, and about how to make his feelings known to Patil, Padma. I am the only one of my family who is Slytherin, you see; everyone else is a Ravenclaw. I felt glad to meet a Ravenclaw who did not seem to mind that the sorting hat saw me more suited to Salazar than Rowena. Now, of course, I know why it is that he did not mind.
