I'll try to write more often in my journal, I promise. This year I actually have something to write about, as opposed to last year. I've been made quidditch captain and I've been really busy with training schedules. I've also had to get used to the routine of waking up, attending classes, eating, revising and sleeping again. Well anyhow, it wasn't a completely noxious smell, it was just a bit whiffy.

Perhaps it was someone's potions assignment. Though you'd think they'd know to keep that mess in the dungeons where it belongs.

Honestly, I should have been a prefect.

Everybody wants to be a prefect to use the prefect's bathroom and give detentions. Good thing my girlfriend's a prefect.

I just think smells offend you in general, potions assignments, the owlery, etc. Have you thought about that?
