Logged in two days in a row. This is a good trend. I have been checking in on LJ over the last to year, reading what you are all up to. I just never logged in and said anything. I think I'm gonna try and stop that - conversation isn't my strong point and this is a good way to improve. It's too easy to make off the cuff remarks on FB and leave it at ( Read more... )

I think you're right about Facebook being off the cuff, and this being somewhere to think aloud. Twitter is even more at the "twitch" end of things. Welcome back!

Excellent, it'll be nice to hear more from you over here :-).

I'm starting to see a lot of commentary about Facebook not being "the answer" to interaction online, which is encouraging. I find FB useful, but do I *enjoy* using it? Not really. If it wasn't for the success of the Thursday Night Is Music Night page and my fiendish addiction to Hotshot, I could cheerfully do without, tbh. Twitter I love, but as others have said, it's a completely different beast.

Your example is inspiring me to go back to blogging more regularly, too; something I've been meaning to do for a long time but never seem to find the time for. Perhaps it's time I did!

Hopefully you are going to be much better than me aobut it. I'm going to go get myself a nexus 7 this weekend (little new job treat, plue this laptop is being annoying for the samll amount of stuff I do), which may encourage me to blog too!
