Polish Pottery oddness

 I kinda-sorta collect polish pottery.  It's all hand made, and designed to actually be used; dishwasher, oven (I own a casserole dish) safe, etc.  I love  that it's so distinctive, and that each piece is unique.  Also, I can usually afford to buy a piece every now at then.  My mom fell in love with my bubble-style mugs, so I got her a couple for ( Read more... )

LOL! I'm seeing it, but the first thing I thought of was waves- it's a sort of universal symbol. And something in the back of my head says that there's been some ancient stylized art that includes fiddlehead ferns, but it's early and I haven't had the caffeine drip hooked up yet...

I think I'm a little concerned at the thought of orange waves or fiddleheads! But now that you mention it I do sort of see where you're coming from; I kind of like the design. I wonder if I'd see something else if it was done in other colors?
