Thank you!! I'm so glad you liked it! I also hate ABC for the way they handled Erica leaving and all that crap. But I think they're doing a much better job with Callie and Arizona now.

Mmm...in some respects, this seems like the coward's way out: writing a letter instead of talking face-to-face, but I applaud your attempts to provide some closure. I'm with you on your frustration over Callie's lack of "transition" on the show - that was a Hollywood thing, because most people in Real Life wouldn't act quite that shallow.

Anyway, now your task is to write Erica's response, in whatever form it might take.

This is good for your first fanfic. But no matter what comments you get, IMHO, it's much better to write than NOT to! The more you write, the better you get.

I agree that writing a letter is the coward's way out, but I think based on Callie's actions on the show, it's probably what she would have done. She's not normally a coward, but when it came to Erica, she totally was. I didn't think to include this, but I also like to believe that Callie did try contacting Erica by calling and texting her once she realized what had happened, but that Erica never responded.
I haven't really put any thought into Erica's response yet. I honestly don't know if she would respond, but I'll see what I can come up with.

this was very good! I liked it a lot. Will you write a letter from Erica too, an answer to Callie's letter? I hope so :)

Thanks! There's actually a second part already posted, which is just Erica receiving the letter and kind of a look into her thoughts on Callie. And I'm working on the third part, which is a conversation between the two. You can find the second part on my journal.

I was on holiday for 2 weeks so I'm still catching up on all the fics that were posted. Gonna look for the next part now :D
